My braid ends are unraveling, what do I do?Updated 5 months ago
Be sure that your braids are tightly braided at the ends and carefully dip your ends in hot water to seal your ends. After Towel Drying your braids, be sure to seal them with hair moose.
When the braiding hair is cut with blunt ends, that will automatically make them unravel because they're no longer in the feathered/pre-stretched state that the hair comes in. When dipping your hair, please make sure that your water is at 99 degrees and hot so that it seals the braids properly.
Another recommendation is to create a small knot or bind the braid where the actual braided part ends by using a lighter very carefully to stop them from unraveling. See a YouTube tutorial here.
